We Defend Liberty and Private Property
With offices in Fort Lauderdale, Mr. Silber ‘s law practice focuses on litigation of Civil Asset Forfeiture claims, Financial Crimes, and Regulatory Violations. He practices in Florida and federal courts, and in administrative proceedings brought by government agencies.
In many cases, clients face two or even all three fronts at the same time: seized assets, criminal prosecution, and regulatory enforcement. The complicated, interwoven, and often times competing issues that these cases present is where Mr. Silber thrives as an attorney.
Broward County Police Benevolent Association
Mr. Silber also provides pro-bono legal counsel to law enforcement officers involved in duty related shootings. He volunteers “on-call 24/7” so that members of the Broward PBA have access to an attorney when they need it most.
Mr. Silber has tremendous legal experience with police involved shootings, including as co-counsel in the matter of Florida v. Deputy Peter Peraza.
In that case, Mr. Silber devised a novel application of law to successfully dismiss manslaughter charges. The dismissal was later affirmed by the Florida Supreme Court and Florida’s 4th District Court of Appeals.
