Lionel Orrego was arrested on August 31 for his alleged involvement in a fatal multi-vehicle DUI car crash in Miami that killed four people.
Orrego, 42, is charged with four counts of DUI manslaughter, three counts of DUI with property damage, two counts of DUI with serious bodily injury, and one count of resisting arrest with violence. He is being held in lieu of a $128,000 bond. It is unclear if he has acquired legal representation.
According to the arrest report, the fatal car crash occurred some time after midnight on Friday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near NW 62nd Street. An unidentified motorcyclist was involved in an accident on the highway and several drivers pulled over to offer assistance. Orrego, who was allegedly driving a white GMC Savana, ran over several of the drivers who stopped to help. Investigators allege that he was intoxicated at the time.
